Information / Adjustments : Bought the car with quite faded paint, the cloth interior (especially the driver's seat) was bad and the sports exhaust system was crap, among other things. Since that I've bought a black leather interior which I modified with the heater elements from the old seats so they're are also now heated. Made the cold winter mornings a lot more bearable! The leaky sports exhaust system was exchanged for a brand new Imasaf one, which are as far as I know exactly like the original exhaust systems for these cars. Quiet at highway speeds, but quite a nice grunt when stepping on it! A lot of money has gone into the engine, both by servicing the g-lader and by tracking down issues with hunting idle and overfueling. So it runs quite good now, bearing in mind it's almost 23 years old! A few interior- and exterior bits have also been changed, for example the front grill and the G60-badge, a front indicator, the gear stick gaitor and plastic around it, and so on... I'm still after a few more bits to have it back to as near mint stock condition as possible, but for now I'm trying to enjoy driving it as much as I can... They truly are great driver's cars! |
