Information / Adjustments : 1995 Model Corrado VR6 - Brombeer. Equipment: Double Airbag Cruise Control Sunroof A/C I guess pretty much most equipment besides leather interior. From the Volkswagen Automuseum they told me this car was originaly made for use within the Volkswagen factory area, the reason I was in contact with them was to find a date of first registration in Germany. Seem like the first time it was registered for road use was in Sweden later that year, as it was sold as a used car by VW AG. It will be sitting over winter, as I'm getting the timing chain done etc. UPDATE: - The car have been stripped for all it's drivetrain and it's been blasted and powdercoated (except the rear beam that's been painted with hammerrite after blasting). New: - KW V1 - Bearings - Bushings - including R32 bushings in the wishbone - All bushings in suspension - refurbished brake calipers at Bigg Red with polymer coating - New brake discs - New ABS sensors and ABS "rings" - New engine mounts - Black Samco hoses - New lifter and valve stem - MK4 metal head gasket - Timing chain done - Metal crack pipe - Thermostat housing - Thermostat - Sensors - And many of the bolts have been replaced with new ones from VW. |
