Information / Adjustments : My name is Carlos Eichenberger, I'm from Guatemala and have loved the Corrado since its introduction in 1989 as the G60. It wasn't until 1999 that I was able to fulfill my dream. This is my second Corrado, the first one ('93 Satin Silver) was destroyed in an encounter with a drunken idiot. The car was purchased in Miami, FL USA and shipped to Guatemala, where it was stripped, repainted and fitted with the interior and engine from the wrecked '93. Modifications in the engine bay include CAT 268 cams, GIAC chip for cams, custom Cold Air intake with hood scoop. Also New Dimensions 10mm sparkplug cables, SAMCO Sport silicone hoses and other small cosmetic improvements. Front calipers are RPI/Wilwood 4-piston with Brembo rotors, Goodridge SS lines and Ferodo pads. Rear brakes have Brembo rotors, Mintex Red Box pads and Goodridge SS lines. Suspension has Weitec Sport springs, Koni yellow adjustable shocks, Autotech front lightened and rear swaybars and Powerflex bushings. The exterior has color matched door handles, headlight bezels, 90mm spoiler, FK badgeless grille, and rear license plate tub. Headlights are Euro version with MOWA relay harness. Foglights are correct, uncracked stock version. Wheels are now Speedline 2113 17x7.5 with Dunlop Direzza 215/40 17. UPDATE 4/24/2011. Added a Four Season Tuning aluminum skidplate. Also a SpoonFed Tuning carbon fiber rain tray shroud and 70mm colormatched urethane front spoiler, plus may billet goodies from Gruven. Replaced the ugly power steering fluid cap with a custom-made billet version. Changed all interior and trunk bulbs to LED. Finally got around to replacing rear hatch latch. UPDATE 6/13/2011. Installed newly covered seats. Bolsters in black leather, centers in black Alcantara. Also did the knee bars, A-pillars and center console pieces. Also added billet caps for oil, coolant and power steering. Exchanged carbon fiber fan shroud for colormatched. Installed ECS tuning "shorty" antenna, Lupo wipers, custom billet door pins. |
