I tought should be fun to explain your nickname.

Mine is simple, when i was younger it was real cool to put everything in leetspeak a.k.a. l33t5Pe4k. So my nickname was M4RT1N, wich i later changed to M4RTiN (notice the i/1)

Now explain me yours because i see a lot of strange nicks

My nickname comes from the movie Back to the Future after the main character Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox). When I was younger I just loved that movie (that Delorean is just an awesome ride) and I found the sound of that name pretty nice. Mc or Mac just sounded very cool to me. It's Scottish and means son of. Later I found out that MacFly "son of the fly" has a deeper meaning in the USA. It means something like loser or wimp, just watch the movie and you'll understand why. But that's not the association I have with the name MacFly. 10 years ago I wanted a cool name for my email address but the name McFly was already taken so I choose to go for MacFly. That's how I came up with this nickname. Greetz Johan
