1994 Corrado 2.9 VR6

i noteced that in most Rado's dashboards the Ac and the heater and the other switch do not have lights in em,,i tried to check on them and i found only one light that comes in the middle switch and its working,,but why the other two switches do not have a light.. please can i have a fast reply on this case..

if you take off the HVAC cover you will see some light channeling green or clear plastic parts. this parts will channeling the light to the 2 outter knobs.

the middle light works and the plastic thingy is just there on the cover and its green but i dont know why it doesnt give the other switches lightning+.. thanks for reply

Actually all three knobs light up, but the outer two are VERY faint. VW tried to be very clever with the design of their light-pipes but forgot that the particular plastic they use attenuates the light over longer distances. If the lightpipes were made of glass, they would work fine.

You could try removing the pipes that feed light into the side knobs, and then putting small lamps or LEDs where the pipes used to go.

i removed the bulb in the middle and placed some
red led
