1993 Corrado R32

Well perhaps this is a verry usefull topic to people wich have to repair a part of their Corrado, wich they aren't aware of better upgrade for specific parts.

Since we have an edit option now, i will update the start post everytime a new entry is made.

Every upgrade is meant to replace an original Volkswagen part to make it better, so tuning and styling isn't involved in this topic.

We desire to give as much information per upgrade, so please include information as VW part numbers, pictures, brandnames, etc. etc.

an example, + the first entry is:

Wiper upgrade, Corrado to Lupo GTI

Part numbers:
6x1 955 409 A wipper-arm left (2x)
6x1 955 425 B wipper-leaf left
6x1 955 425 C wipper-leaf right
1J0 955 205 A cover (2x)

G60 brake upgrade front to Cupra Brembo

1x 6KL.615.123
1x 6KL.615.124
2x 6KL.615.421
2x 6KL.615.301
4x N.100.880.03
4x N.100.650.03

It is also possible to mount this on a VR6 if you use Audi TT brakediscs. Don't know the part numbers tough.

Rear brake-calliper upgrade to VW Golf MK4

For the wipers you can use SWF wiperblades.
The are the best you can buy.
I also have those wiperblades en even i drive 160 in rain the give no trubles.

climatronic is out of a passat or golf mk4 ....
but its not easy to fit this in perfect.
you will need to swap heatercore to make it work.

best upgrades:

-brembo 4pot from cupra (hello braking)
-decent set of coilovers+PU bushings+anti-sway bars+top and bottom stabi bars (hello braking when turning)
-xenon with relais box (I see the light!)
-lupo wipers

all you need in a corrado... (accept for decent power )

1993 Corrado 2.9 VR6 Turbo

I bought my Aero Wiper Kit from www.tmtuning.com and it works great

I have done many upgrades some of theme were a hell of work or expensive ... such as MK4 02m 6 speed tranny swap, Turbo ,Porsche front calipers etc...

Talking about simple upgrades:

Passat moonroof, DDI illuminated gauges, Euro Seat Belt kit (for those in America)

For the Horde of Rados !!!
